The care you need, the support you can trust.
Stacey Fink, BSN, RN, IBCLC
As a Registered Nurse and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant I promise to provide you with the best care possible. Whatever your individual breastfeeding goals may be, I will do my best to help you achieve them.
In addition to my Bachelor of Science in Nursing earned at Seton Hall University, I have a Bachelor of Science in Public Health (with a concentration in Community Health Education) from Stockton University.
After working several years as a bedside nurse on various units I eventually landed my dream job on a Maternity floor. Working primarily as a postpartum nurse for nearly seven years, I was able to provide new (and experienced) moms the hands on assistance they needed to begin a breastfeeding relationship with their new bundle of joy (or joys)! It wasn’t long before I realized my passion for helping families feed their babies was my true calling and decided to further my education and become an IBCLC (lactation consultant).
To earn this credential, I completed over 90 hours of lactation specific education as well as 1,000 hours of clinical experience supporting mothers and babies. I then sat for a Board Exam which was required to pass in order to practice.
I’m a mom of two beautiful daughters, both of who were exclusively breastfed. I’ve “walked the walk” and realize breastfeeding isn’t easy and doesn’t always come naturally, but with the right support, you can achieve amazing things!
When guiding and supporting parents not only about breastfeeding and lactation education, but newborn care in general, I come from a place of experience, compassion and a genuine desire to see you succeed. You are not alone on this journey…allow me to help guide the way!
